Saving Grace is defined as a term used to mean some fact or quality in a thing or a person or an idea that enables us to take a positive view during hard times, despite plenty of negative evidence.
The term Saving Grace is on my radar lately. Why? Because as many of my visions and dreams rapidly begin to take shape, I find myself drawn to truly acknowledge how far I have already come and how I always manage to make it through the bumpy times. In this reflection, I humbly give thanks for the underlining inner strength that always seems to endure.
Hard times. I am sure you know of which I speak. These are the times when you must bravely face adversities, choices and challenges. These are the times when it may feel as if your world is crumbling around you or there is little to no joy left in one or more aspects of your life. Hard times are the critical lows when you know in your heart you must be the one to create transition even when the path to change seems slow, incomprehensible or nonexistent.
Moments of transition are the times when you rise above the hard times and learn to define who you are, trusting in yourself and your worth. The times when your logical mind may try to convince you the situation is too difficult or impossible to change; but instead you choose to take a leap of faith and begin to build upon your dreams. The times when you defy old belief structures and instead choose to believe in the guidance you are receiving and the wisdom you hold. The times when you may perceive judgment and ridicule for the decisions you have made and yet rise above the negativity and continue to follow your heart.
As I have watched many of my dreams go from a mere vision to that of my reality, I must concur with the manifesting gurus. The key to co-creating your world is to define your desires and then stay focused, positive and confident on the outcome. Release your visions to the universe and live each and every day in a joyful and expectant state. Even when your actual reality may be submerged in hard transitioning times stay focused on the positive results and end goal. Stay focused on your Saving Grace.
So, if we know we have to stay positive and of a high vibration to bring in the life that we want. And, realistically we also know there may be some hard and challenging times of transition. Then it really only makes logical sense that we begin to purposefully build moments of Saving Grace into our lives.
To me, Saving Grace has been the small but steady signs from my spirit team indicating that all is on track and moving forward. The phone calls and conversations I have at just the right times. The fortune cookies I look forward to reading. The finch bird perched outside my window. An uplifting song on the radio. An awesome license plate at just the right time. Words from a friend at just the right moment…All little but profound whispers guiding me to keep moving forward.
To build upon the momentum from the spirit world, I also make sure to add my own moments of Saving Grace into each and every day. For me, this is to submerge myself into a state of gratitude and joy with anything that nourishes my soul. Some days that may be a good cup of coffee, a long soak in the tub, sleeping in, a great book, uplifting friends, cherished loved ones, and an open heart. These are all small moments of joy, but it truly only takes a little Saving Grace to make a huge impact in your world.
I find there can be many hard times that come up in life; times that challenge your will, your strength and your devotion to stay true to your heart. In a weird way, hard times are also our Saving Grace. Hard times propel transition by requiring you to take inventory of where or who you are, defining where or who you aspire to be, and determining how gracefully you choose to get there. It is within these hard times that we set clear goals, intentions and direction. It is within these hard times that we are forced to clearly look at what it is we truly desire.
I challenge you to take inventory of your life and your moments of Saving Grace. Whether you are currently in hard times, transitioning moments or truly living the dream, start planting more seeds of change. Clearly define at least five things you want to manifest in your life. And to keep moving ahead by leaps and bounds, be sure to add in many moments of joy into each and everyday. In doing so, you become an active participate in your Saving Grace. And then one magical day you will profoundly find yourself living in a constant state of grace. No saving required.
Namaste,
