Let Your Light Shine

My name is Lauren. Angels and spirit guides speak to me. They ask me to help by sending love, light and healing energies into the world; to pass on messages from the other side; and to stand up for what I believe in. And I have grown to accept and do so without question. I listen and try to respond when asked. But this acceptance did not occur over night.

Over the years I have suffered from more disbelief and confusion about my own personal experiences with both spirit and my healing abilities than reasonably imaginable. Nobody has doubted my abilities more than myself. Uncertainty and disbelief are a natural human response. People fear the unknown. We have been raised in a society with very limited spiritual knowledge. Many of our current religious systems are not inclusive of all that is contained in our universe and countless truths are not discussed.

It has taken a lot of personal experiences, soul searching and support to come out of this spiritual closet. To defy the realities this world has asked me to believe as truths and turn them upside down. And instead, to believe in myself, my experiences, and for what I know to be true. I am a healer, a divine spark of light connected to all that is, and an active co-creator of my world.

Looking back there were plenty of signs showing me a world that I could only dream was possible. There were magical and mystical moments that reconnected me to who I truly was, giving me a glimpse of my inner light and soul potential. However, it was not until much later in life, that I could look back with awe and sheer appreciation of the messages and gifts that have shaped my entire life.

As a child, I grew up in a family that was religious. Not spiritual. Just religious. I distinguish the two because I have always felt religion provides an external means for those seeking to have someone else give them the answers to this world. To give them a textbook explanation on the way things surely are. Religion teaches society how to send a hopeful prayer, interpret the Bible, worship the Lord, and anxiously await a miracle.

Those that are spiritual on the other hand, believe in themselves and the power of their own inner wisdom. They not only know they are completely connected to the divine; there is a strong and continual two-way communication that is taking place. An inner knowing that life is more than what we perceive within our limited earthly senses. A knowing that we are all connected and hold the power within ourselves to create miracles and live a life of peace, health, and happiness.

The kicker is, each soul must learn to see their inner light and let it shine. Not one person, religion, or organization can do the work for you. External resources can and should be used to help you to sort through the clutter. However, you must be the driving force behind your soul’s enlightenment. And as I stand as a wonderful example of the ups and downs encountered during this process, I can clearly confirm how the path of spiritual growth is not always achieved with grace and ease; but achievable it most certainly is!

Somewhere deep inside we are all a spark of divine light. We are all one with God, capable of tuning into our sixth senses and accessing our soul potential. And yet, to this day most of us don’t. The path to our enlightenment is not an easy one. However, please understand that spiritual events do happen in our lives that are outside of society’s current perspectives. We are in constant contact with loved ones, angels, and the divine. We can utilize our sixth senses of sight (clairvoyance), sound (clairaudience), feelings (clairsentience), smell (clairalience), and knowing (claircognizance) to access information from the spiritual realms. We only need to open our hearts, minds and souls to allow the experience in. It is time.

We are co-creators in this universe and keeping yourself small does not serve you or anyone else. Let your light shine.

Namaste,
