There are many decisions we all make each and every day. What to have for breakfast, which route to take to work, what groceries to buy, what music to listen to, what products to use, what activities to pursue, and the list goes on and on. This process is so ingrained within our psyche, that for the most part, we are completely unaware that every moment of every day is based on making a decision. A decision to either keep doing exactly what we are currently doing in this very moment or to move forward with something else. These decisions come so naturally that we don’t even realize we are operating within this system; making a choice every minute of every day on how to proceed.
Then there are those bigger life-defining moments. The larger decisions that we are very aware of and that are well beyond just the normal day-to-day activities encountered. These decisions arrive at various crossroads in our lives. The times when we must take a leap of faith and redirect our lives in the direction of our own SOULworks. Sometimes we take these leaps of faith with little to no hesitation. Other times, it takes years of preparation to make that knowing leap into the unknown.
And it is definitely the unknown. For even for someone like me who can see future events before they unfold, there are always moments of true surrender. The moments when you know your soul is calling you to speak your truth, step out of the shadows, and move your own SOULworks forward. These life-defining moments of decision can be on any number of topics such as a new career, a new relationship, a new home or new pursuits. The commonality is that it will most certainly take your life in a monumental new direction and that the future outcome is actually unknown.
Yet the fear of moving ahead into the unknown and down the rabbit hole of faith, becomes less scary than the fear of staying where you currently are. That is the crossroads. The road that crosses from the direction your life is currently on, to the new road of discovery and adventure your soul is urging you to trust and surrender to, no matter how scary it may seem at the time.
Within these crossroads comes a very large leap of faith. For even though we work in a decision-based world where we all make small but steady choices every single day, these bigger moments require a whole lot of faith. Faith in yourself for knowing deep within your soul that your guidance is clear and your heart truly aspires for these changes to unfold. Faith in the divine order of all things to support your new endeavors and catch you as your free fall into the unknown. And truthfully, faith in the bigger picture, as you release the power you inadvertently bestowed upon others to define your unique path and SOULworks, daring instead to define, discover, and bravely stand on your own.
There can be many profound times in our life that greater change is called for. Do you currently find yourself at one of these crossroad, ready to jump into your life fully and completely?
That is exactly where I am today actually. At a crossroads and submerged in a whole lot of faith that what I am about to do is somehow supported on a universal level of awareness. After over four years of profound experiences that I am in all truth afraid to speak up about; after one full year of trying to understand and capture these moments in written form; and after many, many years preparing myself for the journey ahead by releasing my own fears and self-doubt, I am finally ready to cross that road. I have officially submitted and approved the final content of my second book so that I may soon share my experiences and speak my truth to the world. Evolving your SOULworks: a miraculous journey will be available within the next few months. In the mean time, I am taking another leap of faith and facing one of my many fears one step at a time, by sharing a few excerpts from my soon to be released book…
My name is Lauren Heistad and I have been experiencing the biblical book of Revelation in real time for the past four years, and more recently the book of Isaiah. Not because I have wanted to. Not because I have been familiar with the biblical accounts and wanted a deeper understanding of their meaning. Not because I consider myself religious or Christian. And certainly, not because I have aspired to connect to or become a part of this rare, prophesied time. I just am. I have come to accept my reality simply because it is a unique part of my own SOULworks. I have also come to understand that my accounts are not an individual reflection of greatness nor an act of independence. They are a reflection of the collective force at work, and an indication of the divine greatness held within all peoples.
As my journey continues to unfold I cannot help but feel compassion and understanding to all prophets of the past who have seen visions, and then worked against the grain to recognize and convey these miraculous encounters and insights. I strive to do the same regardless of my fears. My saving grace is the comfort of knowing we live in different times. So, even though my observations, teachings, healings, and experiences may upset the general masses, we no longer live in times where I can be hung on a cross or burned at the stake. Thanks be to God.
As I write down the experiences I have tried to escape from but simply cannot, I hope you hear the words instead of focusing on the person telling the story. I hope you heed the teachings instead of letting your fears engulf the magic behind the encounters. I pray you show compassion not only to me, but also to an entire world shifting through a deep, soulful, and much needed change. Mostly, I hope you feel the truth and apply the teachings to your own awareness and SOULworks. I believe that is truly what they are intended for. Namaste.
