At the age of three my daughter had an imaginary friend. Or at least that is what society likes to call childhood visitations from the spirit world. On one particular day I passed my daughter’s bedroom and overheard her talking to someone. I only heard my daughter’s side of the conversation, but there were definite pauses in the discussion while she eagerly awaited the response of her guest. Puzzled, I peaked in the doorway and asked who she was talking with. Her response was immediate with no hesitation or thought. She merely replied, “I am talking to my mom. You know, the one I had before I came here to have you as a mom.”
Did she just say what I think she did? Wow, the wheels were turning in my mind and the idea of past lives began to blossom in my world.
Over the years I have had many more experiences confirming the existence of past lives. Not only do we carry emotional and physical baggage ahead with us into this lifetime, we also carry knowledge and memories. As I began to dive into this magical timeline depicting the evolution of our souls, some of my own past lives also began to emerge. Now I will be the first to admit that when this information began to flow, I was very skeptical. After all, how was I pulling information from centuries before on topics I knew so little about? How was it that I could remember moments in the very distant past and apply the knowledge to my healing practice and everyday life within current times? Who was I to think I played such an important role in days gone by? Who was I to strive to stand in all my glory within this lifetime? But then again, who was I to not?
I for one fully believe that we are all aspiring to merge the past, present and future creations of our soul into one divine being in the NOW. By bringing forward our past awareness into the present moment, we are not only honouring who we are and where we come from, but we are enabling ourselves to stand in our true greatness and divinity. I assure you, we have all played many roles in this play we call life, but more importantly we all have the opportunity to access this knowledge and grow from our inner wisdom. A truly great actor/actress will develop skills from their past performances, bringing together all they have learned to create one unified, harmonious and glorious role; striving for the performance of a life-time at every given opportunity. And for those who have grasped the sheer magnitude of who you are and why you have come to this earth at this time, I encourage you to fully stand in your power with the faith and conviction that brought you here, for the world needs your light.
I know for a fact that I lived, breathed and took part in many life-changing eras within our world. I have it on good authority that we are all striving to evolve on a soul level so that we may enlighten the world. I know without a doubt that I can help others see and experience their true greatness through the process of spiritual healing and journeying. For in this lifetime, I am playing the role of Lauren Heistad: an intuitive healer, teacher, and change maker, with a strong connection to mother earth and the evolution of mankind.
To my spirit guide, friend and mentor Yeshua (Jesus), thank you for being a fundamental part of my life and this process. Thank you for shining your light and for encouraging me to believe in who I am and what I have to offer our world. Thank you for breaking ground into uncharted territory and for believing in my ability to do the same. It is my honour to continue our work and to assist with the higher calling of ushering in a new world.
