Over the years of our collective evolution, the true colours of all people are becoming more obvious. I don’t mean the colour of our skin tone because we are all equals within the human race, each beaming with soul potential. I am talking about the true colours of all people within their individual vibrational awareness and evolution that clearly illustrates where a person’s temperament typically resides between the “I” and the “We” mentalities. It is the frequency of true colours within an individual’s soul signature that continues to segregate our society, keeping our collective potential down within the depths of fight or flight, duality, superiority complexes, and ego-based mentalities.
I am very grateful to see the rise of many conscious co-creators within the “We Mentality”. Those who care about the well-being of all others, show compassion, and tackle life from the bigger perspective of a unified and global landscape. Those who understand and knowingly consider the equal rights of all people while understanding their capacity to affect the well-being of all others each and every day. To those who embody a higher level of respect and deliberate effort to be mindful, thank you.
This month I would like to specifically honour and give thanks to the LGBTQ community. I personally commend you for being the forerunners of change. On both an energetic level and a courageous pursuit towards the freedom of choice, your efforts and strength are to be both acknowledged and revered. From a spiritual perspective, I thank you for being brave enough to come out of the closet and show your true colours. What your movement has accomplished for society is groundbreaking despite the opinions of those who feel threatened by the changes you bring forward. You have created a stir within the consciousness of many and forced the world to view current perspectives from outside the box, a much needed and refreshing view for a world that had become so black and white in terms of humanity’s collective views of both right and wrong.
On a more personal note, as I struggled over the years to come into balance with both my masculine and feminine aspects held within, I attest to the confusion and inner turmoil one must go through to break down the stereotypes and come to the understanding that our soul is far more expansive and whole then our physical body could possibly contain or our minds feasibly conceive. Add in the magnitude of past lives and the many times we have been on this earth as various combinations of male or female personas, it is no wonder many of us relate to one part of the equation more than another. The truth is, we all have the balance of both masculine and feminine held within. To suppress or ignore that reality is heart wrenching. Even in the most confident of souls exuding one predominant gender over the other, from an energetic standpoint, there is still a suppressed other half to the whole hiding somewhere deep inside. Whether that suppressed aspect is a result of preference, trauma, the need for attention, unresolved past lives, feelings of unworthiness or a misguided belief that one aspect is superior to another, the energetic result is still the same, an unbalanced state held within the body, mind and spirit that when finally addressed, creates the largest pathway to embody your own soul potential.
I do have one small preference though, and it is just a mincing of words; I strive for Gender Balance while finding ways to both honor and be at peace with my earthly form. Over the years, I have profoundly watched perfectly balanced men or women including myself, energetically morph back and forth between masculine and feminine personas regardless of what physical vessel our soul resides. And although I do value everyone’s personal choice to decide how to physically represent themselves in this world, in truth, neither basic biology, cosmetology, nor modern medicine will ever change the fact that both aspects of our masculine and feminine nature are always present and accounted for, stepping forward whenever and wherever that internalized other half to our whole is summoned forward. Therefore, I do believe we must eventually all find ways to help heal aspects of ourselves that are unaccepting of the physical vessel our soul resides within, while realizing we are well beyond archetypes and categorization. Creating labels, trying to characterize the expansiveness of our soul or resonating with gender neutrality leaves the summation of our divine nature out of the equation. Gender Balance, on the other hand, implies and emanates an acceptance of both the divine masculine and feminine energy being strong, vibrant, and radiating from within.
To the LGBTQ community, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the first wave of changemakers. In truth, you have activated the world’s awareness to the totality of our life force, co-existing within our own individual and collective SOULworks. Your act of bravery freed many from silenced truths, giving a voice and empowerment to countless individuals well beyond your own community. Well done my friends.
